Ok, I should have waited to post AFTER the concert on Sunday, but seeing that ZERO on the board was bugging me. This is my first TMBG concert ever, so I'm pretty excited (I've only seen video footage of their concerts). Hopefully I'll get some good pictures to upload.

I suppose the purpose of the Sightings Forum was for impromptu, on-the-street type sightings, but I guess aren't very common, especially among such a small usership.

The first time I saw TMBG with my own eyes was at a SLC concert in 1998.  There is something so new, yet familiar about seeing them walk out on stage.  It happens every time.

Even though I started this post in the wrong section, I might as well follow up here where I started. The concert was fine. The main faults of the day were all the venue/radio station's fault. Limited seating able to see the stage, everybody else is kept behind tall fences that hinder your view of the stage. And on top of that, it has rained that morning so it was muddy everywhere. But, TMBG put on a great show, and made sure to refer to those of us behind te fence a few times. There are reviews and pictures all over the net from people who actually got to sit in the shell area.

It's ok. I'm making some new rules for myself concerning driving a long distance for outdoor concerts. I WOULD really like to see TMBG indoors sometime with lights and fog and air conditioning...and hopefully not a giant fencing blovking your vision and keeping 9/10th's of the audience 400 feet away from the stage.
